You are absolutely right, Stephanie. Human trafficking used to be #3, but it's now #2 (edging out illegal arms).

Why is human trafficking so lucrative? Because you can sell a drug once, but you can sell a child or adult over and over again. Sad but the tragic reality.

Answer to today's question:

drug trafficking is the only criminal enterprise that is more profitable than the buying and selling of people.
