Diana Scimone is a writer and journalist who has reported extensively on issues of human rights and justice around the world.
She has traveled to more than 40 countries on five continents including Sudan, Zimbabwe, Kenya, China, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, and elsewhere.
During her travels, she has seen the devastation that many of the world’s children face. She founded Born to Fly International, Inc., to respond to those needs. B2F has helped children in disaster and crisis situations around the world including in Thailand, India, Zimbabwe, China, Sudan, and many other countries.
B2F now focuses solely on stopping child trafficking through the Born to Fly Project. (www.born2fly.org).
Diana is the author of a series of children’s books called Adventures With PawPaw about a little dog who travels the world introducing young children to other countries and cultures (www.adventureswithpawpaw.com).
Diana is also a writer's coach and president of Peapod Publishing, Inc. (www.peapodpublishing.com). As a writer's coach, she helps people write the book they've always dreamed of writing--via a blog (www.HowToWriteABook.biz), teleseminars, writer's workshops, and 1-on-1 personalized writer's coaching.
Diana was named as one of the Top Ten Women Warriors of Twitter, an honor she wears proudly. She's also in the premier edition of Who’s Who in the Media and Communications, Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in the World.
